Breaking news:
Gov. Corbett plans to overturn a three-year-old moratorium on further leasing of state park and forest lands for gas development.

In his proposed 2014-2015 budget today, Gov. Corbett factors in $75 million in revenue to be accrued via the lifting of a moratorium on further gas leasing on state-owned lands.

Bottom line: Gov. Corbett is attempting to balance the budget on the backs of our state parks and forest lands when he should be protecting these special places for this and future generations.
